Multimedia on Wheels was founded by myself, Darren McLeod. I am a teacher of 15 years experience. Realizing the benefits of multimedia presentations I began to embrace this method of teaching. However it soon became apparent that it was not a simple process. I found, as did many of my colleagues that it was a time consuming and sometimes difficult process to collect the various pieces of equipment, take them to a room and then connect them up. Because it was a hassle I recognized a need for a new way of doing it. After much consideration I felt that there was an opportunity to produce a product that would be useful, user friendly and commercially viable. Upon my decision to proceed with my idea I retained the services of one of Melbourne's top industrial design firms to assist me in the development of my product. Over a period of six months we worked together to come up with the best design for what we were trying to achieve and the Power Presenter was born. Through the entire process we have been mindful of ensuring that the unit be easy to use, portable and secure. We have also done our best to ensure that we have maintained a high quality in both the materials used and the finish of the product.
